$1 Million Donated to Support Gastroenterology Care at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital
Saskatoon, SK — Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF) is thrilled to announce a remarkable $1 million donation from ten generous donors to support the purchase of cutting-edge pediatric gastroenterology equipment for infants, children and families at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH).
This transformative contribution will help equip Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital with innovative tools and resources, ensuring Saskatchewan’s youngest patients receive the best possible care close to home. These advancements will profoundly increase pediatric health care outcomes for children experiencing complex health challenges.
“This gift from community leaders demonstrates a profound commitment to the health and well-being of Saskatchewan’s children. This donation allows JPCH to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for our pediatric gastroenterology team, enhancing our ability to diagnose and treat complex conditions. This investment helps ensure families can access world-class care close to home for years to come,” said Dr. Klassen, Provincial Pediatric Department Head.

This timely announcement comes on the heels of the Government of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Health Authority pediatric gastroenterologist recruitment of Dr. Rabin Persad.
