Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day Returns August 11
People from across Saskatchewan are encouraged to visit their local Dairy Queen on August 11 to mark the 14th annual Miracle Treat Day. On Thursday, proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, one of twelve children’s hospital foundations across Canada supported by Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
“DQ operators are proud to support the Saskatchewan kids and families with the fundraising we do year-round and on Miracle Treat Day,” said Saskatchewan franchisee Derek Picton. “Together, we can truly make miracles happen for kids across Saskatchewan and we look forward to seeing our fans and customers on August 11.”
Dairy Queen locations will also be accepting donations on Miracle Treat Day. The funds raised will help provide critical treatment and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and family-centered care through the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
“Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment,” said Jana Len of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. “We encourage everyone to visit one of the 45 local Dairy Queen locations across Saskatchewan for a Blizzard Treat to help make a real difference in the lives of kids across our province who spend time in hospital.”
