Cliff and Deb Wiegers: Champions for Children’s Health and Legacy Builders in Saskatchewan

Cliff and Deb established Wiegers Financial & Benefits in Saskatoon in 1991. Since then, they have been philanthropic pillars in our community.

Recognizing that investing in the well-being of children is an investment in shaping the future, they created Care for Kids by Wiegers. This signature event has raised more than $2 million in support of enhanced children’s health-care services at Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.

In addition, Cliff and Deb are legacy builders, demonstrating the depth of their generosity. Also coaching others to do the same in their financial planning, their efforts do not go unnoticed.

“The dedication of Wiegers Financial and Benefits has greatly impacted the advancements of delivering children’s health care at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and throughout the entire province. The partnership between Wiegers Financial and Benefits and Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation embodies the spirit of a strong provincial community collaboration and generous commitment to greatly improving the lives of children and their families; the impact in supporting a center of excellence for our sick kids is immeasurable,” says Brynn Boback-Lane, JPCHF.

Together, Cliff and Deb are helping ensure the health of our next generation through their dedication both professionally and personally.

“We were blessed with four healthy children but had enough experience with them in hospital to know that Saskatchewan needed a dedicated children’s hospital where children and their families could feel safe, comfortable, and mentally supported. This is why we began supporting Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation more than 20 years ago, and why we continue to support it today personally, through our business’s charity, and through planned giving. We are proud to support this incredible organization!”
