Dairy Queen’s 22nd Annual Miracle Treat Day: Making Miracles Happen for Saskatchewan Kids!
Saskatchewan – Get ready to eat a tasty treat because today is the 22nd annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day. On this special day, Dairy Queen locations across the province will once again unite to make miracles happen for children in hospital. With every Blizzard® Treat sold, net proceeds go to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Saskatchewan member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
For twenty-two years, Dairy Queen has played an indispensable role in Children’s Miracle Network in Canada, generously donating over $52 million to local children’s hospital foundations across the country. In 2023 alone, over 3.1 million children received essential care through in-person and virtual visits at local children’s hospitals across Canada. Together, Dairy Queen’s devoted staff, enthusiastic volunteers, and valued stakeholders collaborate throughout the year to bring attention to Miracle Treat Day and raise crucial funds across Canada.
This year, Dairy Queen COO, Dan Kropp – U. S. and Canada, will be in Saskatoon on August 8th and is excited to take in this year’s festivities to raise crucial funds for children requiring specialized pediatric health care at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and across this province.
Last year, Saskatchewan generously supported this tasty treat day, raising $250,000!
“Thanks to the dedicated support of partners like Dairy Queen and Children’s Miracle Network in Canada, we are excited for everyone’s favourite fundraiser happening across the province on August 8th,” said Jada Kook, Community Engagement Manager at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “When you treat your employees, your family or yourself to a Blizzard® Treat at Dairy Queen on Miracle Treat Day, you directly impact the lives of over 80,000 children and moms-to-be from 499 Saskatchewan communities who visit Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital each year. Your support helps these families stay in Saskatchewan to receive the critical care they need.”
In addition to purchasing Blizzard® Treats, Dairy Queen will also be accepting donations on Miracle Treat Day. Your contribution will go directly to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, helping to provide life-saving equipment, innovative research, and vital programming at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and throughout the province for pediatric and maternal patients.
