Mainline Automotive Group Donates $125,000 to Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan

Children needing specialized care for heart-related conditions will soon see their specialist in a state-of-the-art Echo Exam room within Pediatric Outpatients at Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan, thanks to a generous contribution of $125,000 by Mainline Automotive Group.

The parent company of five auto dealerships, Mainline Automotive Group has built their business on strong family values. Directors Curtis and Gerald Merrifield, along with their partners Jason Ediger, Kevin Douglas, Keegan McAvoy and Bob Bodnarchuk understand the importance of giving back to their provincial community. “There’s nothing more important than family and being able to give back to Saskatchewan families through this gift just makes sense. We are so happy to provide kids with enhanced cardiac care to help give families hope for a healthier future,” says President and CEO, Curtis Merrifield.

The contribution will fund an ECHO Exam Room in Pediatric Outpatients at Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan, providing the dedicated space needed to diagnosis and treat cardiac abnormalities in children. The funding comes as a collective gift between Mainline Automotive Group includes Rosetown Mainline, Mainline Chrysler, Kindersley Mainline, Watrous Mainline, Virden Mainline and Mainline RV & Marine.

“This gift will have a tremendous impact on young patients in need of cardiac care at the new children’s hospital,” says Brynn Boback-Lane, President & CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “With five dealerships across the region supporting the hospital through this gift, it serves as a reminder of the importance of our new maternal and children’s hospital not just for Saskatoon residents but for our entire province.”
