Redhead Equipment Donates $1 Million to Capital Campaign
A standing room only crowd comprised of staff, business partners and friends of Redhead Equipment gathered at their Saskatoon location in celebration as Gary Redhead, President and CEO of Redhead Equipment, presented a $1 million cheque to Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
“Thanks to the hard work of our employees and the loyalty of our customers for the last 64 years, Redhead Equipment has been fortunate to continue to grow a successful business in the Province of Saskatchewan,” stated Gary Redhead. “The operation and support of a Children’s Hospital in our province will benefit all of us and I am honoured to offer this donation to the Children’s Hospital Foundation on behalf of Laura and myself and more importantly, all of the employees of Redhead Equipment.”
“Our “Be a Part of it” Capital Campaign is about community leaders and companies stepping forward to inspire others to be part of the vision of this very important facility that will impact all families across Saskatchewan. This generous donation from Redhead Equipment keeps the momentum going and the message that it matters. The management and staff should be proud of the leadership their company has displayed today and what their own hard work has achieved for children in the province,” said Grant Kook, Capital Campaign Co-Chair and Chairman of the Board, Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan added, “We are extremely grateful and sincerely thank Redhead Equipment for this extraordinary gift. Just as Redhead Equipment serves our communities throughout Saskatchewan, this significant contribution will greatly assist children and their families by providing specialized care at the new Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan.”
“The generosity shown by Gary and Laura Redhead and the staff of Redhead Equipment is outstanding and we thank them for their remarkable donation,” says Craig Ayers, Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan Project Director with Saskatoon Health Region. “We’re working hard to ensure patients and families are at the centre of our decisions with designing and planning for the new hospital. Your gift will help to support staff and physicians in providing exceptional care for pregnant women, mothers and children and help us achieve our vision.”
The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan is the sole Foundation responsible for fundraising for the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan. This new provincial hospital will serve mothers and children from across the province, offering leading-edge health care equipment and technology, research programs and innovation—this is a provincial children’s hospital with focus on family-centred care.
