Saskatchewan — Young’s Equipment is proud to announce their generous donation of $500,000 to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF). This significant contribution will be directed towards the Provincial Pediatric & Critical Care Transport Team and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, ensuring that children receive the highest level of care during critical times.

The pediatric transport team plays a crucial role in stabilizing, treating, and transporting children to the hospital in the safest and quickest way possible requiring the most advanced equipment and expertise. Comprised of skilled registered nurses, PICU intensivists and respiratory therapists, this dedicated team provides essential care during transport, making a life-saving difference for young patients and their families. These specialized services are important to the leadership of Young’s Equipment.

“Young’s Equipment is extremely proud to partner with Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Provincial Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and the Provincial Pediatric Transport Team to expand access to the critical services they provide across the province,” said Sean Young, Assistant General Manager of Young’s Equipment. “This partnership is possible because of the tremendous support from our employees and customers over the past 35 years. While we always hope these services won’t be necessary, the specialized care provided at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, and the enhanced accessibility provided by the Provincial Pediatric Transport Team, make Saskatchewan a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation relies on generous donors like Young’s Equipment to provide lifesaving and life-changing equipment and programs at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital and throughout the province.

“This significant contribution from Young’s Equipment will enhance our provincial pediatric transport team and Saskatchewan’s only PICU, allowing us to provide comprehensive and timely care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients,” said Brynn Boback Lane, President and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “With their support, we can further our mission of delivering transformative pediatric care throughout Saskatchewan ensuring that every child has access to the life-saving treatments they need, regardless of their postal code. Thank you for helping us bring hope and healing to countless families.”
