How to build a better future on this special Giving Tuesday

This Tuesday, you can join in on a worldwide movement demonstrating the power of generosity, while also showing your support for Saskatchewan children and families in hospital.

May 5 marks Giving Tuesday Now, an opportunity for you to help secure a healthier future for our province’s kids and families by giving to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Your gift will make an even greater difference thanks to CN, who is generously matching donations up to $5,000.

Giving Tuesday is a global movement for giving and volunteering, typically taking place each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, this year, given the unprecedented need during the global pandemic, there are two Giving Tuesdays, one in May and one in December.

With urgent health care needs in our province, now more than ever, your support will help secure funding for the most innovative and up-to-date pediatric and maternal equipment pieces, research and family-centred care.

“During this challenging time, we are very grateful for your kindness and generosity to help children still undergoing cancer treatments, moms-to-be who are in labour, premature newborns who need intensive care, and many others,” said Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “This Giving Tuesday, we are thankful to have CN matching donations dollar for dollar to help make a real and lasting impact for the children and families in our province.”

The 8th annual GivingTuesday will be on December 1, 2020.
