On June 5th 2018 my son Emmet Steadman was born with a rare disease called Nephronophthisis NPHP3. He was in the NICU, PICU and Pediatric Ward in the RUH for 10 months after birth. My son will be needing a kidney and liver transplant still.
While the stay in the hospital, it’s hard to stay positive even for the parents. Christmas was the one time of year that all those little faces smile and glow so bright. All these special and amazing children receive the gift of love and giving.
Watching them all received little presents did big difference on their stay.
One of the most beautiful things I’ve truly ever witnessed.
