Mariah Shupe raising funds for Mending Little Hearts Fund

Hello Everyone,

Our amazing daughter, Winnie is a patient of the Cardiac team at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon. She has a severe cardiac condition and we currently see Winnie’s team every 6-8 weeks.

When we returned home from Europe last August we were quite worried about what kind of changes in care we would see at JPCH; different country, hospital, team of doctors, nurses, dietitians, technicians, etc. I can easily say that from our first appointment at JPCH we were absolutely blown away. Not only is it that the team is full of amazing people but they have the most comfortable environment for children and families. You also feel at ease with all the brand new equipment, from the ultrasound machines, to IPads with Netflix and Disney subscriptions, they are also able to send equipment home with parents to help monitor their little one. The team is also able to provide support and education for parents during what can be extremely stressful and scary times.

The Mending Little Hearts Fund is a designated charitable fund which was created in partnership with Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. This fund allows you to make direct donations toward addressing the needs of children living with heart conditions from all across Saskatchewan.
