RE/MAX Agents Support Kids in Hospital 365 Days A Year

Each August, RE/MAX demonstrates their continued support for children’s health by celebrating the Month of Miracles. When you see a Miracle Home sign on top of a RE/MAX agent’s yard sign in Saskatchewan, that agent is donating a portion of the sale to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Agents and brokers rally for kids’ health year-round. We dedicate August to showcasing the extraordinary work they do to enhance children’s health care.

“Although August is the Month of Miracles, it really is an ongoing thing. Sickness doesn’t have a timeline, it happens 365 days a year,” said REALTOR® Craig Adam, 2020 Top Miracle Agent.

REALTOR® Craig Adam has been giving as a RE/MAX Miracle Agent since 2006, alongside his wife and business partner, Debra Duncan, who has also been a long-time RE/MAX Miracle Agent. Craig has volunteered for many years to support his community, including the Children’s Hospital Telethon in the late 1990s! Craig and Deb believe it’s important to give back to the children of Saskatchewan and have enjoyed participating in the Month of Miracles and other Children’s Miracle Network charitable events such as golf tournaments, live auctions, and fun runs. 

“As REALTORS®, Deb and I work with families every day and we learn of the stresses parents endure when they have a sick child,” says Craig. “Every time we sell a house through the Miracle Home Program, we are proud knowing it’s helping our local children’s hospital.”

REALTOR® Gregg Bamford has also been giving as a RE/MAX Miracle Agent since 2006.

“When families have to cope with the life-changing experience of caring for a child who needs medical care, our Children’s Hospital spares them the added challenge of finding service outside of Saskatchewan,” said REALTOR® Gregg Bamford, Top Saskatchewan Lifetime Miracle Agent. “I believe that being close to family is crucially important, and I’m happy to do my small part for our local Children’s Hospital. My passion has always been helping kids and making this world better for them. Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital gives kids a place for world-class medical care, right here at home.” 

Craig, Debra, and Gregg are three of 169 RE/MAX agents across Saskatchewan who support Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. There are more than 5,000 participating RE/MAX agents and brokers in Canada who support children’s hospitals through the Miracle Home Program, golf tournaments, barbecues, and community events. Last year,  $3.8 million was raised by RE/MAX agents in Canada. 

RE/MAX has been a national sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network since 1992. Since then, RE/MAX agents and offices across Canada have raised more than $79 million to help children and families receive quality care from their children’s hospitals.
