John Remai of JRs Designer Birdhouses retires after raising nearly $250,000 for Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation
After 16 years of working with provincial charities, including Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF), John Remai of JR’s Designer Birdhouses is retiring.
John has worked tirelessly over the years, creating thousands of beautiful birdhouses that are sold with proceeds going to Foundations. His excellent craftsmanship skills and unique style made each of his creations a special addition to any home.
These birdhouse donations have added up in a big way to support Saskatchewan kids and families in hospital. Since 2009, nearly $250,000 has been raised for JPCHF.
“It’s wonderful to have a hobby with a purpose that you really enjoy,” Remai said.
John and Sonja Remai are long-time supporters of JPCHF. In 2009, they generously donated $1 Million to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. In 2014, the Saskatoon couple donated another $250,000 to support Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon. We are so grateful for the years of support and wish John all the best in his retirement.
There are a very limited number of birdhouses left. Please call our Foundation office at (306)-931-4887 if you are interested in purchasing one.
