Saskatchewan Rush & TD team up for jersey auction in support of children and families
The Saskatchewan Rush, in partnership with TD, are proud to announce an exciting initiative taking place on Saturday, March 26th that will help raise funds for Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHFS).
Ryan Barclay, District Vice-President at TD Bank Group, says, “At TD, we believe that one of the best ways that we can support our communities is by investing in children’s health. TD believes that every child deserves the opportunity to live life to its fullest. That’s why TD, our employees and customers work hard every year to support our local children’s hospitals.” Barclay continues, “Through these efforts we have given more than $70 million over the past 21 years to children’s hospitals throughout the country through our support of Children’s Miracle Network, including over $2.9 million to the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan. We are so thrilled to support Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan and we can’t wait for the hospital to open in 2019!”

The fundraising efforts of both organizations are a great opportunity to have fun, cheer on our team and help us purchase pediatric and maternal equipment right now for Saskatchewan children and their families.”
The Saskatchewan Rush with TD and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan will be hosting a Saskatchewan Rush Jersey Auction. Rush players will wear a Limited Edition CHFS jerseys at the game vs Toronto Rock on March 26, 2016, which will proudly showcase the CHFS on the front side. The back name bar of the jersey will enlist that each player is “playing” for Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. The jersey auction will begin on Monday, March 21st at 10:00am on a photo album created on the Official Facebook Page of the Saskatchewan Rush (facebook.com/SaskRush). The auction will run until Sunday, March 27th at 6pm CST. Winners will be contacted on Monday, March 28th. In addition to the online auction there will be Limited Edition Chris “Captain” Corbeil Rush t-shirts sold at SaskTel Centre on Saturday, March 26th, 2016. The t-shirts will be sold by TD volunteer staff members for $20. CHFS donation bins, will be set up around the main concourse level at the SaskTel Centre. Lastly, a Saskatchewan Rush auction table will be set up on the main concourse level, featuring autographed and game worn equipment.
All of the money raised from these initiatives will go towards Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. Together with TD, the Saskatchewan Rush are helping to Build A Tradition in the community in which it serves.
