Saskatchewan Blue Cross Donates $50,000 to Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan
Patients and families at the new Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan will now have a private space to share information with hospital staff upon arrival. A generous donation of $50,000 by Saskatchewan Blue Cross has allowed for the creation of a Family Interview Room, giving families this dedicated space right where they enter the main lobby.
“We have a strong mandate to give back to our Saskatchewan community,” says Arnie Arnott, President and CEO of Saskatchewan Blue Cross. “Supporting our children and enabling the best health care to families facing challenges is one of the best ways we can fulfill that commitment.”
“We are grateful to Saskatchewan Blue Cross for helping us create a safe and comfortable space for patients and their families to share important information during what can be a very stressful time,” says Brynn Boback-Lane, President and CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. “As with many new features in our children’s hospital, this important room will help make the hospital experience easier for the families of our province.”
