Irene Svenson makes impactful donation to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation

Retired nurse, artist and philanthropist from Yorkton, SK, Irene Svenson shared her big heart with sick children all around Saskatchewan through an impactful gift of $100,000 to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF).

Irene has demonstrated her caring spirit to her community using her artistic talents to help those in need, donating her work to philanthropic causes.

“I am pleased to be in a position to help.” Irene said. Her impactful gift will be recognized in proud support of an exam room within Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children‘s Hospital Pediatric Outpatients and will help purchase priority equipment enhancements, family-centred programming and research, impacting pediatric patients from all over Saskatchewan.

“Irene’s generous support of our Foundation helps provide continued access to the best care possible for our province’s moms-to-be and children, when they need it most.” said Laura Gawletz, Philanthropy Manager at Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “This gift will help children and their families, from every corner of Saskatchewan.”

Irene also extends her gratitude to Mr. Tony Merchant, Merchant Law Group LLP, for presenting her donation.
