Ledcor Construction Limited supporting pediatric health care with $25,000 donation to JPCHF

In support of maternal and pediatric health care, Ledcor Construction Limited has generously donated $25,000 to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF).

“We appreciate the tremendous benefit that the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH) provides to the residents of Saskatchewan and are proud to be able to help,” said Laird Ritchie, Regional Manager at Ledcor Construction Limited.

As part of Ledcor’s 75th birthday last fall, the company announced it would be making a $3 million donation over the next four years to support pediatric healthcare, including this most recent donation to JPCHF.

“We continuously look for ways to foster long-lasting relationships and leave a positive impact that remains long after our projects have wrapped up,” Ritchie said.

Last year, over *66,000 children and babies visited JPCH, with over *20,000 children requiring emergency services. JPCH has the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Saskatchewan, with over *66% of those young patients travelling from outside of Saskatoon to receive specialized care.

“We at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation are so grateful for this generous gift from Ledcor Construction Limited. This donation will help to drive maternal and children’s healthcare, research and innovation forward for children all across our province,” said Samantha Schneider, Community Engagement Manager at JPCHF.
